Strain Ring
Although designed for attaching by brackets, clamping, bonding or welding, to deep sea structures, the strain ring is versatile enough for structural monitoring of many other applications. Full encapsulation and environmental sealing make it perfect for use in the harshest environments.
Strain Ring benefits:
- Can be submersed to 100 metres
- Wide range of +/- linear strain

- Installand and removal easy to perform
There are two types of strain ring, encapsulated for non submerged use and fully sealed to go as deep as 100 metres. Both can be retrofitted where strain gauging or load cells would be difficult to fit.
